This policy explains how Salute (also known as Salute Mobile Bar, a mobile cocktail bar and bartender service based in London) uses personal data collected through salutemobilebar.co.uk. We are the "controller" of that data under UK data protection law.

What we collect and why
Enquiries you send us
When you use an enquiry form we collect what you type: your name, email address, phone number, event address, event date and times, estimated guest numbers, number of cocktails or bartenders, budget range and any notes. We use it to reply to you, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange your event.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Emails, calls and messages
If you contact us directly we keep the conversation so we can help you and keep a record of what was agreed. The legal basis is the same as above.
Website analytics (only if you allow it)
With your consent we use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used: pages viewed, device type, approximate location and how you found us. This helps us improve the site. Legal basis: your consent.
Advertising measurement (only if you allow it)
With your consent our Google Ads tag records whether a visit came from one of our ads and led to an enquiry.Legal basis: your consent.
Technical data
Our hosting provider processes technical details of each request (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Who we share data with
- Formspree processes the enquiry forms and emails your enquiry to us.
- Google provides our email (Google Workspace) and, only if you allow them, Analytics and Ads.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and helps keep it secure and fast.
We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers process data outside the UK (for example in the United States); where they do, we rely on the safeguards they provide, such as approved contractual clauses or UK data transfer arrangements.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and messages: for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and up to 24 months after our last contact if you do not book.
- If you book with us: we keep records for as long as the law requires for accounts and tax (generally 6 years).
- Analytics and advertising data: for the retention period set in our Google accounts.
- Your cookie choice: until you change it or clear your browser.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interest;
- give you your data in a portable format, where that applies.
You can withdraw consent for cookies at any time with the cookie settings above. To use any other right, email info@salutemobilebar.co.uk; we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

- This site is for people planning events and is not aimed at children.
